Tuf-Link
Tuf-Link is a water resistant concrete bonding adhesive and admixture. It can be applied to both exterior and interiors as a non re-emulsifiable coat-on bonding agent, a primer, or an admixture.
Tuf-Link is unique in that it contains no acrylic. Acrylic based products trend to be stiff and brittle lacking workability and plasticity. Acrylic Free Tuf-Link has a number of important advantages:
- Tuf-Link maintains outstanding water resistance both when used as a bonding agent or as an admixture for both indoor and outdoor use. Its water resistance is so superior it is frequently used under water in swimming pool construction.
- Tuf-Link provides additional plasticity which improves workability and reduces short and long term cracking.
- As an admix Tuf-Link slows water release and as a bonding agent it eliminates water absorbsion into the substrate. These features enhance hydration and reduce or eliminate the need for post application wetting.
- Tuf-Link has a low water like viscosity which promotes deep penetration into the substrate giving a very strong bond. It can be applied by spraying, rolling, or brushing. The low viscosity also helps mixing and minimizes mottling for swimming pool use.
- Tuf-Link admixture increases the cement’s bonding with the aggregate. This improves the strength, flexibility, durability, and chemical resistance of the finished product.
- Tuf-Link meets ASTM C932.
Many Florida contractors recognize Tuf-Link as the area’s superior concrete bonding adhesive and admixture and it remains their product of choice especially when the application is demanding.
